When loading Windows, the app crashes instantly, and the gadget cannot initialize. When I tried to uninstall (I installed over DTLite, although it said it successfully uninstalled this first), it also crashes - therefore I can't run it, and can't remove it.

Hello,

It seem Daemon Tools Ultra dosn't create any virtual CD-DVD drive, also there are no emultation options like SecuRom, Laserlock..., there are no options for hotkeys. I expected Ultra version comes with ultra options include options of DT little and Advanced.

hello i want to buy one of the pro advanced -ultra tool but i don't know which is better.the ultra has the same capabilities with pro advanced and much more?i noticed that it isn't come with shell extension option.so i can't work with right clik?

Have removed asd reinstalled DT Lite several times. Using Win XP SP3, Dell Dimension 4600. Worked well in the past but, now won't create virtual drive. What am I doing wrong? Help!

I have DT PRO 5.4 Advanced Trial version.

I have Lite On 24x ATAPI SATA DVD drive.


I tryed attach IDE or SCSI virtual devices to physical device (Lite On 24x) but it did not work.


Attaching menu deactiveted on device parameters menu. it says "no devices were found."


But DT PRO shows on my physical drive CD DVD devices menu.

What is the problem?

Note: I installed SPTD 1.86 x64. My OS is Windows 7 x64

Hello, im new daemon tools member now i downloaded alot of games with daemon tools and when i installed one of the game i got this error "close all running applications which may use your virtual drive." Any fix? Thanks.

I tried
-Killing explorer.exe in task manager
-Mounting in another place
-clicking ignore and retry

Hello!

I'm having all my movies on a server, and I play them on various computers at home (like on the media computer connected to the TV).
Some movies are avi files, while a few are images of DVD's. So I have Daemon Tools mount 4 different image files like that, and I've shared those virtual drives as Windows File Shares. And it all works great - other computers can just connect to those virtual drives/shares and play the movies.

However, when the server is rebooted, the Daemon Tools drives are not working until I manually log in to that server. Is there a way to re-mount the drives at boot time, and not as I have it right now at login time?

Until recently I was using the Free version and I had set key shortcuts that I used to drop an image or clear an image and a such...

I decided to purchase the Ultra 2 version but now I seem to find that many features in the free version are gone?!? Like creating my own key shortcuts?

Is there still a way to do this or did I just buy something that has less capability?

Hi

I have installed Daemon Tools Lite 4.48.1.0347 on my Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Right after the install I ran Daemon Tools, mounted my image and everything was good. A while later, I decided to restart my computer.

Now Daemon Tools behaves really weird: There is a process open in task manager called "DTLite.exe *32", but there is no Daemon Tools icon in the icon tray. If I try to open Daemon Tools from any shortcut icon, nothing happens. The desktop widget keeps showing a loading screen type of image and doesn't respond to mouse clicks. If I try to mount an image by right-clicking and selecting "Open with Daemon Tools Lite," i get a message saying "Mounting Image," but nothing happens (not for 5+ minutes anyway).

My Anti-Virus is ESET version 5.0.2122.1

What can I do to fix the issue?

Hello together,

I have Daemons Tools Pro Advanced running on Windows 7 64 bit. I have an CD-ROM which seems to be protected with protect disk 10.0 (it installed that driver). I tried to copy it with the protect disk profile and to run it with RMPS but that didn't help. When it starts a message appears saying "optgraph.dll is missing" and a message saying that this is not a original CD.

Can you help me? I've read about a new dll which adds a new profile for the protected disk protection?

First off, I have a new computer and this is the only one I have ever had problems using Daemon Tools on. It is an MSI i7 2.4 GhZ, 12gbs of ram, Windows 7 Premium 64 bit.

Anyhow, every single ISO I have attached to Daemon Tools mounts fine, but after attempting the auto run I get this error...



Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi there,

I want to make a disc image of a blu ray disc that has been recorded on a Panasonic BTW735 TV recorder.

The footage is standard definition without any protection (that I am aware of - there are no copy restrictions listed by the recorder which highlights when this in terms of copyright).

I successfully made a .mdx image using DTL 4.48.1.0347 but am unable to mount it with the message being 'Unable to mount image file. Invalid image file'. The image icon has a red circle with a line through it.

I didn't have any install issues and am running the software on Vista Ultimate with SP2. Other image files (ISO of DVDs) will load but I am keen to back up blu ray discs.

Can you help please?

Hi,

I used Daemon Tools Lite for 3 years just to play one game, I was first on Windows 7, then Windows 8 and since the update to Windows 8.1, it keeps displaying: "Emulator Detected, Please deactivate virtual drive and emulation software."

Oh and by the way, since that update, I saw that in Advanced settings, all the boxes were grayed out, so I checked my STPD version, and it was written that it was not installed...

So I installed another version with STPD 1.84, and after that, the boxes in Advanced Settings were not grayed out anymore, so I checked all boxes, then I started the game, and still keeping telling me: "Emulator Detected, Please desactivate virtual drive and emulation software."

So after that I tried installing Daemon Tools Pro 5.4 and STPD 1.86, and still keeping displaying the same message, so I checked the Advanced settings, and they were grayed out again...

Tried many things for at least 4 hours and still not able to start that game..
Can someone help me?

I need to create a bootable thumb drive version of Win7, so I downloaded Daemon Tools Lite and made the disk image, but the problem is that the image is in an MDX format instead of ISO.

I don't know why Daemon Tools would do that, but I need to have an ISO file on my computer in order for the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool to work.

What should I do?

hi! i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but anyway..

when trying to play a game using the daemon tools (lite), it says to insert the cd-rom and try again.

if it helps, i'm on windows 7. it was working fine before, but now i'm getting the error message and idk what i've done wrong or if it's a bug or whatever

if you know of any fixes, explain them simply please, i'm not really computer savvy ;/

I don't find any solution for this issue.I am writing this post.
I have Eset Smart Security 7.0.302.26 .

It says setup file has potentially unwanted application.


This problem may be resolved in the future?

I don't know if this is really relevant to this forum, I have asked on the Hyperspin forum with no luck.
I installed Daemon Tools Lite, to mount Images through HyperlaunchHQ with autohotkey. It works fine with several games that I play through Hyperspin.
Everything works beautifully, for a while, then the PC slows to a halt. Folders stop responding (when I try to open them, SSF.exe (Sega Saturn Emulator) eventually refuses to open up. Windows explorer populate bar takes forever.
When I uninstall DTLite, the problems go away. Windows Explorer opens instantly once more, folders open again.
When I browse (through DTLite) to the ISO folder, I get the win 7 spinning wheel and the folder with the ISO's never opens. Not sure if it will eventually open but how long, I've left if it for ages whilst waiting for the emulator to open.
Its windows 7 64 bit, avg antivirus, malware bytes and that is about it.
Sorry if this is not really a DTLite problem but I thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas.

I downloaded a 4gb iso file which also has md5 & sfv files.When i mount the iso file & try to open then a window appears saying the disc might be corrupt or needs formatting.

Please help me regarding this issue, I'm clueless.
