CD-TEXT error in image
I taken an image of an Audio-CD (used subchannel 96bytes - RAW-PW) . If I mount then the image and try to look at the CD-Text info in different programs it displays it with errors. (I think some come from codepage / character issues...)
Do you know what the source of this issue could be?

Read operation had hit a bad (unrecoverable) block (abcde)
Hello everyone,
I have recently bought some English-Bulgarian computer dictionaries. Let's call them 1, 2, 3 and 4. I have also bought some computer programs to learn MS Windows and Internet, MS Word and MS Excel with by myself. Let's call them 5, 6 and 7. I have a paid license of Daemon Tools Ultra and I used its latest version in order to back up the above-mentioned software. Unfortunately I was not able to back up 1, 2, 3 and 4 because the imaging process has always been failed and Read operation had hit a bad (unrecoverable) block (abcde) where abcde stands for the name of the relevant block has always been written as an explanation for the failure. I would like to attach Protection ID Log Windows and Protection Reports for 1, 2, 3 and 4.
So here we go: 1_Log Window + 1_Protection Report, 2_Log Window + 2_Protection Report is empty, 3_Log Window + 3_Protection Report is empty, 4_Log Window + 4_Protection Report is empty.
I tried the following combinations:
1/ Format ISO + Speed 4x which is my lowest reading speed
2/ Format ISO + Speed 4x + Ignore bad blocks + Skip bad blocks
3/ Format ISO + Speed 4x + Ignore bad blocks + Add bad blocks
but all of them ended with Read operation had hit a bad (unrecoverable) block (abcde) message.
I would like to ask you what is the reason for the above-mentioned error since the discs are brand new and also what format and profile am I supposed to use in order to fix it and back up 1, 2, 3 and 4 taking into account their Protection ID Log Windows and Protection Reports ?

DAEMON tools won't install.
I've tried both running in compatibility mode and running as administrator, I still get the file not accessible error during the install. I don't know what else to do. I am installing the version with ads if that makes a difference.

Activation site down?
I can't install Daemon Tools 10 Lite. After I enter my activation key and hit 'next' or 'activate' I keep getting "server request failed', error 6. I have rebooted my computer and even disabled my firewall and anti-virus. Same thing.
Is the server down for maintenance or what? Running XP Home Service Pack 3.

Acces denied error on Windows 10 and DT Ultra 4.1
Hello,
I haven't used daemon tools until recently and I am unable to mount images anymore. Each time and for each image format I tried I get an access denied error popup.
I tried cue+bin, iso, zip. I tried on several location on my drives, C: and D: which are physically different (not partitions).
I can obviously read the files. I also tried running daemon tools as administrator with no result.
What can go wrong ?
I am using Windows 10 64 bits and DT Ultra 4.1

Where to find advanced emulation in Daemon tools pro 7?
I mounted a disc and I can't find where to use securom or any other emulation anywhere.
There's no option for it anywhere.
Does this not work with copyprotected disc images?

Daemon Tools Ultra "New SecuROM" profile.
I'm attempting to dump a SecuROM 5.03.06 game and I'm whenever I select the New SecuROM profile, the "DPM High Precision" option is grayed out and unselectable. This option is selectable under other profiles. What's causing this? I'm using a Plextor PX760-A under Windows 7.

DaemonSync - iPhone
I have an iPhone 6+, i have DS on it. I am running a bit of a different setup than most.
I have a Linux server that is cloud based so i can reach it from anywhere. I added the phone to my server. It will sync a few pictures at a time but if i set it to auto no matter if the app is open and live it doesnt sync basically at all. I have gotten maybe 10-15 pictures to sync but thats all. I can set it to non-auto sync and sync 1-2 pictures but after say 10+ it crashes the app completely. After opening the app it looks like it is trying the sync again on those same pictures but they are VERY slow if it is even working at all. I have tried this on two different wireless connections as well as data on my phone. Still no avail.
Anyone have luck with this application? Wish this solution was a bit more encompassing to where i can just install the app and setup the server. Letting the device auto-sync in the background. Also would like some web features to where i can easily view and download pictures from the website. Doesnt have to be user account based or anything though that would be nice.

choosing version
Which version of Daemon Tools do I need if all I want to be able to do (on 64-bit Microsoft Windows 10) is to create ISO virtual-disc backups of SafeDisc/SecuROM CDs/DVDs? According to what I've read, running software from discs protected with SafeDisc or SecuROM is no longer supported on Windows 7/8/10. I need an application that can create ISO virtual discs that can be run on VirtualBox Windows XP instead of my Windows 10 host operating system. I don't need mounting or burning ISO capabilities since those features are already supported on Windows 10.
I tried installing the Daemon Tools Lite Free License but I am getting the error below on attempting to back up a SafeDisc CD-ROM (Age of Empires II). I read on the forum that apparently the error is due to using the Free License? There are no visible scratches or damage to the disc.

revoke failed..
After a reinstallation of Windows problem was the format .
And by logging in Daemon Tools website. To disable the authenticated Press show detail , but pressed the button and then check the information revoke , revoke was not .
Whereby the current can not install on a newly installed Windows system.

DiscSoft Bus service not running
Hi,
I installed DT Lite, but I can't run it because I get an error when I try to launch it.
It says "DiscSoft Bus service not running". If I run mannualy DiscSoftBusService.exe, it doesn't change the problem. If I look in the running services list, it actually stops immediately after I launch it.
I uninstalled and reinstalled DT several times, wiping registry errors after uninstalling, doesn't work.
Can you help please?

Failed DT Lite Installation
So I downloaded DT Lite from Disk-Tools.com but once I run the installer, it fails over and over until I get this message http://puu.sh/p7aDV.jpg .
I've tried to search for any left over files from when I used to have DT Lite installed back in the day, but I couldn't find any that weren't already deleted. I also thought maybe it was my AV program, but it didn't make any difference when I disabled it.
Any ideas?

Command Line Issues
Hi, I am trying to mount an image via the command line options but am having no luck. I originaly tried running the command in a batch file but cant get the image to mount.
Found this url --- Command line - DAEMON Tools Lite Help --- as well as many others
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I run the command below and it doesn't do anything. No errors. I'm running Windows 10 pro 64bit.
Here's what I've been trying...

Please help? Unable to unmount IDE drive.
I had the previous version of Daemon Tools, and I think I may have mounted an image to an IDE drive, it's showing as G: Exfat. However, I uninstalled that version and installed the newest 7 version *upgrade. But, that mount/image is not showing in this version. I clicked on remove/all and it did nothing. How can I unmount the old image??
